Ryan.Renee.Isabel.Lucy.Amelia.HenryRyan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.comBlogger226125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-986006409279105588.post-35084529724571366972015-04-13T09:02:00.001-07:002015-04-13T09:02:13.222-07:00SorrowEaster has come and gone and I found myself reflecting on life. Life- what does that mean? Is it just a mortal existence? Is it compiled of trials, mistakes, joy, pain, love, and happiness? It's so much more. Life, stretches so much further. I know that this mortal existence is just a small segment of my life. I was so touched this Easter in a way I have never been touched before. As I watch my children grow and struggle, I often times loose my patience, use guilt to make a point, and scold them. Is that what the Savior does to me? Absolutely not! Life is challenging and often times we loose the war but fight to win the battle. Our Savior teaches us with love and forgives us freely. It was through His sacrifice that my life is full and I can be forgiven and live my entire life beyond the grave with Him again. <div>Often times when Ryan is driving and I am in the passenger seat, I give driving advice. It annoys Ryan, so I have learn to sit quietly while he drives, even if I know he missed a turn or should have changed lanes so that he wouldn't miss the off ramp on the freeway. It eats at me at times, especially when he drives slow. Every once in a while he will forget where he is going (he gets lost in conversation and misses turns), and I will speak up. He then will ask me why I didn't say something earlier. I've become almost afraid of giving driving advice because of past experience. Recently I spoke to Ryan about this. He was surprised because he didn't realize he was speaking unkindly to me when I was offering help. Recently a loved family member has made serious transgressions and has headed down a dangerous path. It's broken my heart to see the pain decisions have made. As I have reflected on the years of poor decisions that have gone unresolved, I think of driving with Ryan. Have I sat quietly and said nothing? Have I given advice and been scolded because of it and consequently stopped trying to help? Yes. I saw the writing on the wall. I saw the pain up ahead. What could I have done? I don't know. I think of my family member and sorrow engulfs me. I feel such a sense of sadness and hopelessness. How do you help someone that has lost their way? The answer is love. Just as our Savior teaches and forgives with love, so shall I. I am far from perfect and make mistakes daily, but I know my Father in Heaven loves me and my Savior died for my sins. Just as I have been forgiven and learn to grow, so can we all. </div><div>I resolve that I will love more freely. I will forgive more freely. And I will emulate my Savior. This Easter has been a difficult and special one. I am grateful for life's lessons and that we can all change. What an amazing gift we have been given.</div>Ryan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-986006409279105588.post-38257782613114124422015-03-15T10:44:00.001-07:002015-03-15T10:44:21.766-07:00San Fran sisters trip<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzVQ3MGf8ODEsDtswvEloSDX3hTxeUBI1omW5s981BFqxIXA_cNE7wsPYSANcNGn_cVS9rDh5DPCO0xrevTxpWsAAJXj1dZqk19Vh8qfriw-KV7NCaf1bUeBvuEbtzMWidwU4sX_ck3sI/s640/blogger-image-767122167.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzVQ3MGf8ODEsDtswvEloSDX3hTxeUBI1omW5s981BFqxIXA_cNE7wsPYSANcNGn_cVS9rDh5DPCO0xrevTxpWsAAJXj1dZqk19Vh8qfriw-KV7NCaf1bUeBvuEbtzMWidwU4sX_ck3sI/s640/blogger-image-767122167.jpg"></a></div>Last week I went on the best trip. All my sisters and I went to San Francisco for four days. Here is a quick over view of what we did each day:<div>Day 1: Chinatown, the palace of fine arts, the Golden Gate Bridge. This was so fun. We walked around the city, ate Chinese food, and saw the beautiful architecture at the palace of fine arts.</div><div>Day 2: Muir Woods and Sausalito. I've been there many times, but this time was the best. We went on the trails off the main paths. It was a great hike and so peaceful. Sausalito was a fun city to walk around. It's right on the coast and had a really casual feel to it.</div><div>Day 3: the Marin headlands. This was such a cool place. It looked like scenes out of an apocalyptic movie. They are old bunkers and kind of ruins from ww1 and ww2. They were so neat. We hiked around them. We also went to the lighthouse there. It was amazing. I loved it!</div><div>Day 4: church and Oakland temple. This was so nice. After sacrament meeting we went to the Oakland temple visitors center and watched the movie meet the Mormons. It was very moving and inspirational. </div><div>This was a really great trip. I love my sisters and I am so grateful we do these trips!!<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPG_J1JOCIPOl7Bl4fmvYl6zV4N6Tfe4Yg-fe47JKMP0lbHvMiC2W6T2AwwFNEO5bNfVRapDnLctKc4puf8kx7Qr9wTbZxtWk9fTsB-dwhRylxjFhqg_xUqeZIN8Ti8CvSh-_Arw1P4gA/s640/blogger-image-462836484.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPG_J1JOCIPOl7Bl4fmvYl6zV4N6Tfe4Yg-fe47JKMP0lbHvMiC2W6T2AwwFNEO5bNfVRapDnLctKc4puf8kx7Qr9wTbZxtWk9fTsB-dwhRylxjFhqg_xUqeZIN8Ti8CvSh-_Arw1P4gA/s640/blogger-image-462836484.jpg"></a><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPG_J1JOCIPOl7Bl4fmvYl6zV4N6Tfe4Yg-fe47JKMP0lbHvMiC2W6T2AwwFNEO5bNfVRapDnLctKc4puf8kx7Qr9wTbZxtWk9fTsB-dwhRylxjFhqg_xUqeZIN8Ti8CvSh-_Arw1P4gA/s640/blogger-image-462836484.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAQdUV04oAUwzFKmfAhAmqg7JPMzk_5T2wQ2TfBHwt0uosl7V3JU1OVPEljM9poetapG7SNh0UMApraYQ6hly7x-8jGN-c-9SmIt8K2RcePvtroroUh5sv-7TdVra_YSVmDj1ULM1UqlI/s640/blogger-image--1849271441.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAQdUV04oAUwzFKmfAhAmqg7JPMzk_5T2wQ2TfBHwt0uosl7V3JU1OVPEljM9poetapG7SNh0UMApraYQ6hly7x-8jGN-c-9SmIt8K2RcePvtroroUh5sv-7TdVra_YSVmDj1ULM1UqlI/s640/blogger-image--1849271441.jpg"></a><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAQdUV04oAUwzFKmfAhAmqg7JPMzk_5T2wQ2TfBHwt0uosl7V3JU1OVPEljM9poetapG7SNh0UMApraYQ6hly7x-8jGN-c-9SmIt8K2RcePvtroroUh5sv-7TdVra_YSVmDj1ULM1UqlI/s640/blogger-image--1849271441.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeUEZTfIfhFqYLcaZmlu7OYasIdVuqDdHphyphenhyphen8LaYIvj9lN-APETnU4PJ-JI9bcGotDkOx7Qck9i3k5SgL064LCITKwiqwMXi29LxJxnJaGboH7BWydMYGkxVv0vCVdsTVZIms-Vp1RlUc/s640/blogger-image-1840890271.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeUEZTfIfhFqYLcaZmlu7OYasIdVuqDdHphyphenhyphen8LaYIvj9lN-APETnU4PJ-JI9bcGotDkOx7Qck9i3k5SgL064LCITKwiqwMXi29LxJxnJaGboH7BWydMYGkxVv0vCVdsTVZIms-Vp1RlUc/s640/blogger-image-1840890271.jpg"></a><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeUEZTfIfhFqYLcaZmlu7OYasIdVuqDdHphyphenhyphen8LaYIvj9lN-APETnU4PJ-JI9bcGotDkOx7Qck9i3k5SgL064LCITKwiqwMXi29LxJxnJaGboH7BWydMYGkxVv0vCVdsTVZIms-Vp1RlUc/s640/blogger-image-1840890271.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgciTNDgjV9-F2UUdao-zGaT4VNU1IhTDBNn_BGX5-Oog6k7oLxw-b5pKVaTY2SDhTkZhWjnL82eHc5tv2rvG5zMi84Kxy-XEj69oC88Ypi9_-XfPPlLhxpLeefr8QT7lLeqzWgUXQOsS0/s640/blogger-image--294242254.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgciTNDgjV9-F2UUdao-zGaT4VNU1IhTDBNn_BGX5-Oog6k7oLxw-b5pKVaTY2SDhTkZhWjnL82eHc5tv2rvG5zMi84Kxy-XEj69oC88Ypi9_-XfPPlLhxpLeefr8QT7lLeqzWgUXQOsS0/s640/blogger-image--294242254.jpg"></a></div></div></div></div></div>Ryan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-986006409279105588.post-18894128513737486252015-02-01T15:39:00.001-08:002015-02-01T15:39:33.773-08:00Happy 3rd Hank and Millie<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWfYqyOowWbPFn8ZfMjXVf0k9uKdj_n9ba3HWl5Em2e6eFSOV-XPmo9bhBf1VysJIXSItHYUxWnUcKMQEtgkXnAzxllfhbvBwI-lOj3pL3FQALBxw3JDG_rkP2zwIrGtEJ2-1K9dYc3Y4/s640/blogger-image--737938057.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWfYqyOowWbPFn8ZfMjXVf0k9uKdj_n9ba3HWl5Em2e6eFSOV-XPmo9bhBf1VysJIXSItHYUxWnUcKMQEtgkXnAzxllfhbvBwI-lOj3pL3FQALBxw3JDG_rkP2zwIrGtEJ2-1K9dYc3Y4/s640/blogger-image--737938057.jpg"></a></div>I can't believe they are three!!!! It's a lot of work, but spending the one on one time with them is priceless, and I really do mean that! I love being with them, even when I'm tired. We have been learning colors lately. The kids love to finger paint, so this has been fun for them. <div>Last week we also make rabbit ears, for the letter R. They loved making them and then hopping around like rabbits.<br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkAAJAvIXAdoVDwQzpCq6iRUYMoyhnOEJfgRWpVpPQp-6fGHc32f3FApW9Q4klMVsSq_pMkhjGfQO6tefnp3yKU7D0kwXXHwN27F4re4GVuMue8XIb6nfsp7rqJ5Yc8_GLkZQT-PA6cvQ/s640/blogger-image--25491112.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkAAJAvIXAdoVDwQzpCq6iRUYMoyhnOEJfgRWpVpPQp-6fGHc32f3FApW9Q4klMVsSq_pMkhjGfQO6tefnp3yKU7D0kwXXHwN27F4re4GVuMue8XIb6nfsp7rqJ5Yc8_GLkZQT-PA6cvQ/s640/blogger-image--25491112.jpg"></a><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkAAJAvIXAdoVDwQzpCq6iRUYMoyhnOEJfgRWpVpPQp-6fGHc32f3FApW9Q4klMVsSq_pMkhjGfQO6tefnp3yKU7D0kwXXHwN27F4re4GVuMue8XIb6nfsp7rqJ5Yc8_GLkZQT-PA6cvQ/s640/blogger-image--25491112.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0Kyqw3kDQQqlCpJLRPBpzA1QPIe1j1rpK6eM0q5FVjdIc11dxokj9vNwen1-0xev5rO2cEs1uIruuqgnDRaIEGzEt_Q2U69AeG0sJkF-ROd0bpDwa5lRz1lrdFvPDxVhM6e4FYlQ7F68/s640/blogger-image--1713323364.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0Kyqw3kDQQqlCpJLRPBpzA1QPIe1j1rpK6eM0q5FVjdIc11dxokj9vNwen1-0xev5rO2cEs1uIruuqgnDRaIEGzEt_Q2U69AeG0sJkF-ROd0bpDwa5lRz1lrdFvPDxVhM6e4FYlQ7F68/s640/blogger-image--1713323364.jpg"></a><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0Kyqw3kDQQqlCpJLRPBpzA1QPIe1j1rpK6eM0q5FVjdIc11dxokj9vNwen1-0xev5rO2cEs1uIruuqgnDRaIEGzEt_Q2U69AeG0sJkF-ROd0bpDwa5lRz1lrdFvPDxVhM6e4FYlQ7F68/s640/blogger-image--1713323364.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjd9T37QffrqQ7Bb946fg6BYH0yjiuKnKG1GDTPTj9boalA3t2ajoHpy-l5pfj8MB5pSKt8tq6nK-Okw8lnBDddGarQWkf9ZIRYfJyqxagk9KlgIilfTu10Sbrq6Ndz_6f5jFGa8lNiWxo/s640/blogger-image--1340233756.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjd9T37QffrqQ7Bb946fg6BYH0yjiuKnKG1GDTPTj9boalA3t2ajoHpy-l5pfj8MB5pSKt8tq6nK-Okw8lnBDddGarQWkf9ZIRYfJyqxagk9KlgIilfTu10Sbrq6Ndz_6f5jFGa8lNiWxo/s640/blogger-image--1340233756.jpg"></a><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjd9T37QffrqQ7Bb946fg6BYH0yjiuKnKG1GDTPTj9boalA3t2ajoHpy-l5pfj8MB5pSKt8tq6nK-Okw8lnBDddGarQWkf9ZIRYfJyqxagk9KlgIilfTu10Sbrq6Ndz_6f5jFGa8lNiWxo/s640/blogger-image--1340233756.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpNgf8CmFxCsV9coeFt2aKj29gOrqPLI9Pq0xUeDc2rjH1trfuaK8N_WOymnkpY8Y5jJcU3A2xwFEFc0wL8ecRJwlQT-JINHPSFXPkLWZPFVAcQXoi0VaJ1de-KX9o484TkaSOCQ8wJyg/s640/blogger-image-1500247030.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpNgf8CmFxCsV9coeFt2aKj29gOrqPLI9Pq0xUeDc2rjH1trfuaK8N_WOymnkpY8Y5jJcU3A2xwFEFc0wL8ecRJwlQT-JINHPSFXPkLWZPFVAcQXoi0VaJ1de-KX9o484TkaSOCQ8wJyg/s640/blogger-image-1500247030.jpg"></a></div></div></div></div></div>Ryan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-986006409279105588.post-19893339429314087362015-01-06T10:34:00.001-08:002015-01-06T10:34:58.533-08:00Preschool adventures<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8LvgMarCF2W1M_d3dqvzmY7ATCTcTwhw1JVIA4sRLcOE-Iei7C1xae6JIwrdH5TCoB9I4D51xetOq_tUtroRhf9as59bqph08egsgersEx6VeCLYIiYdYPViE3kZJ9e-UaDxjWQ4QQsE/s640/blogger-image--486105718.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8LvgMarCF2W1M_d3dqvzmY7ATCTcTwhw1JVIA4sRLcOE-Iei7C1xae6JIwrdH5TCoB9I4D51xetOq_tUtroRhf9as59bqph08egsgersEx6VeCLYIiYdYPViE3kZJ9e-UaDxjWQ4QQsE/s640/blogger-image--486105718.jpg"></a></div>I have loved doing home preschool. With the cost of sending kids to preschool and having 3 still at home, there was no way I could afford it, plus who doesn't want an excuse to sing silly songs, finger paint, and read books with their kids (and not feel guilty about putting off laundry)? I have loved doing school with my kids! I'm not going to lie, there are days I would rather put on a movie for them and lay on the couch, but being with them and watching them grown smarter is very rewarding. I love doing preschool with my little people!!!<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFpuPtDEtaDElQnW1a_X78XpvQylcaUkOL9ozGuqbpQv47Nk3dybs9pkw8eyCv7fwR1Aprzns2mfIO3q5bjRFd41gIlC8qLQ17iUVgTXXsHpC-tNeM26E27Kr010d7BXPwgSaYfQdfGZY/s640/blogger-image-1818564087.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFpuPtDEtaDElQnW1a_X78XpvQylcaUkOL9ozGuqbpQv47Nk3dybs9pkw8eyCv7fwR1Aprzns2mfIO3q5bjRFd41gIlC8qLQ17iUVgTXXsHpC-tNeM26E27Kr010d7BXPwgSaYfQdfGZY/s640/blogger-image-1818564087.jpg"></a></div>Ryan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-986006409279105588.post-32561767654229467442015-01-04T19:25:00.001-08:002015-01-04T19:25:08.400-08:00Is there anything better than a sleeping baby?<br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijgJl4-zhFnwGF2Ve1GbBV_tzcvL6StVxArUKEH_J1sv46khl7mRw4o-aPAAJu_E7KU_5CNXkvrC12UXm7503RrGRRaZKk0yuW_7typXketZRgQ6TSjC6MSu4T2AxVEMcPeEkUV5yHFks/s640/blogger-image-845099080.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijgJl4-zhFnwGF2Ve1GbBV_tzcvL6StVxArUKEH_J1sv46khl7mRw4o-aPAAJu_E7KU_5CNXkvrC12UXm7503RrGRRaZKk0yuW_7typXketZRgQ6TSjC6MSu4T2AxVEMcPeEkUV5yHFks/s640/blogger-image-845099080.jpg"></a></div>Ryan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-986006409279105588.post-77427555338077471072014-10-11T18:31:00.001-07:002014-10-11T18:31:37.893-07:00Isabel's Baptism<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Today was one of those days you know will come but sneaks up on you all at once. I honestly can't believe that I have an 8 year old and that she got baptized today. Wasn't it yesterday when she was born? How did this happen? I am so proud of Isabel! Today was a really wonderful day. We had a great baptismal program, her baptism and confirmation, and a nice luncheon at the house. It was great to be surrounded by friends and family. Isabel was sad Grandma and Grandpa DeLong were not there (they are in Tonga), but was very happy everyone else was able to come. I am such a happy mom seeing my children grow into happy intelligent people. Isabel - I love you so much!Ryan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-986006409279105588.post-87538559752667650222014-09-27T09:10:00.001-07:002014-09-27T09:10:13.676-07:00Well Hello thereIt's been about 18 months since my last post. Time has flown by and it's hard to keep everything afloat at times. we are still around and kicking. Since my last post we have moved into our beautiful home in Farr West. We love it here! The kids are making friends, the ward is great, and life is fantastic! Ryan is excelling at work, even though at times doesn't like his job (what man doesn't feel that way from time to time, right?). I am doing home-preschool with Lucy, Hank, and Millie. I am really enjoying it! Isabel is in 2nd grade and loves it.<br />
Well, time to do something productive!Ryan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-986006409279105588.post-8095031467260425562013-04-10T08:34:00.001-07:002013-04-10T08:34:23.316-07:00LifeWell, I haven't posted anything in quite a while. Life is, to sum it up in one word.....BUSY. I always knew having twins was going to be a lot of work, but no one can tell you or prepare you for this experience. It is more work than I ever anticipated. It really annoys me when people say things to insinuate that they could do it without any problems, or why I look so tired because it can't be that hard. I love my life and I am loving my twins, but it is more work than you can imagine.Ryan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-986006409279105588.post-38581559708439647892013-01-22T21:13:00.002-08:002013-01-22T21:13:37.777-08:00Scheels<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This weekend we decided to have some fun with the kids, but we are kind of cheap. So, we took the kids to Scheels to see the dead animal zoo and take some fun pictures. We then went to IKEA for a snack and walked around. I was shocked at how good the babies were. They were awesome and loved being in the stroller. The big girls were good most of the time, just a minor melt down from Lucy. Over-all a really fun day. We had a good time and didn't spend too much money!Ryan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-986006409279105588.post-33863546294656183802012-08-09T19:48:00.000-07:002012-08-09T19:48:01.138-07:00Hello I'm a Baby and I Like to PoopYesterday was a...... I'm going to use the word 'interesting' to describe my day. Yes, it was very interesting and a day like I have never had before, nor wish to have again. I should start the story by saying that Henry has been extremely irritable and has been crying all night and all day the past few days. It has been both exhausting and annoying. The poor kid has had something going on, I just don't know what. He had been crying pretty much all day and did not want to sleep. I was reaching my limit with him, so I put him in his bouncy seat, told the big girls I needed a breather, and stepped out on the deck for a 5 minute breather. I came back in and found the girls talking with him and playing with him. The had every toy in the room around him and he was happily enjoying all the attention. Just then, Millie woke up. I went and got her and found that she had a poop diaper. I changed her nasty big diaper and then placed her on the play mat on the floor. I then proceeded to feed Henry in his bouncy seat. The toys were in the way so I threw a few on the mat with Millie. Henry ate and the entire time was tooting (a lot). When he got done eating I decided I should change him because he probably had pooped. I began to lift him out of the bouncy seat when I noticed poop running down his legs, up his back, and about an inch of poop in the bottom of the bouncy seat. NASTY! So, I stripped him down, put him on a changing mat and got him cleaned up. I then spent the next 20 minutes or so cleaning the bouncy seat with my carpet cleaner. Just then, Isabel says to me, "Mom, what is all over Millie?" I go over and see that Millie's face, arms, and upper torso is covered in poop. Where did it come from? That's right, the toys must have had poop on them. Her binky is covered in poop, her hands, the toys she has been sucking on for the past 20-30 minutes. So, I strip her down and proceed to get her cleaned up. Meanwhile, Henry is freaking out. By the time I got done cleaning them both up I had a huge bag of wipes and diapers for the garbage. It was so gross.<br />

So, how is it having twins? A full time job!Ryan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-986006409279105588.post-23658739138833467652012-07-14T08:45:00.000-07:002012-07-14T08:45:06.431-07:00HenryJust an update for those of you who don't receive my texts and don't do facebook. Henry is doing really well. He had his surgery on the 11th (Wednesday). The surgery he has is called "The Glen". It's pretty major stuff. He was on the bi-pass machine for about 30 minutes. Everything went as it should have. He came right off the ventilator after surgery and when we went in to see him he looked great. He slept most of the first day and moaned a lot. It was sad to hear him complain, but was very much expected. That evening he had some bleeding and the doctors were a little concerned. He was extremely pale and honestly looked horrible. It scared us to see him look so bad. They gave him some blood and eventually the bleeding stopped. Almost instantly he started to look better when he received the blood. The next day he looked really good and started eating. He was awake more, but still out of it a lot of the time. He stopped his moaning and pretty much just laid there quietly. The next day (yesterday), he really started to eat. They pulled all his drains and lines, so we were able to hold him. It was so nice holding him and knowing that he was going to be okay. Last night he was moved out of the ICU and onto the Cardiac Surgical Unit. It's nice to have a private room and a little more quiet. I talked to the nurse this morning and it sounds like he is doing really well. He slept all night and she was going in to feed him. We are taking the girls to see him today, that ought to be interesting. They are excited to see him.<br />
I am extremely grateful to my Heavenly Father for Henry's strength during all of this. I feel so blessed that Henry is doing so well. Every time I look at Henry I see a miracle. I would never wish any of this upon anyone, but I am grateful we have gone through it. I feel like I have learned so much about myself, life, and my relationship with Heavenly Father through this trial. My faith has been tested. Henry is a sweet baby and I love him more each day. I cherish my life and health more today than yesterday. I think blessings (and wake up calls) come in a variety of packages, mine came in the form of a little baby boy. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I am so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family. Last week we got family pictures taken. It's always a gamble how they will turn out, but I have to say I was extremely happy with the results. My sister Michelle took them at a local park. Thank you so much for doing it for me! It was a lot of work to get ready for them and make the kids happy, but totally worth it.<br />
On a side not if anyone is wondering...... Henry's surgery was suppose to be on July 3rd but he was bumped off the schedule due to an emergency. He is now scheduled to have his surgery this coming Wednesday. We will keep everyone posted on how it goes. I am extremely nervous and every once in a while I have a total melt down thinking about it. He needs to get it done however, and I know that whatever the outcome is we will be fine. I am relying on my Heavenly Father 100% that His will will be done (and hopefully that is that everything will go fine and he will make a speedy recovery). Please pray for my little Hank (and maybe for me too). I would be lost without the little guy and hope I don't have to experience life without him.Ryan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-986006409279105588.post-36935765805931346122012-06-12T20:46:00.000-07:002012-06-12T20:46:06.625-07:00They are all related!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I was looking through old pictures and was shocked at how much all my babies look alike. Actually how much Henry looks like Isabel and how much Amelia looks like Lucy. It is a little shocking. The top photo is Isabel, the middle Lucy, and the bottom Amelia and Henry. Can you believe it? Amazing. I guess they are all mine after all.Ryan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-986006409279105588.post-63673910413515054382012-05-06T19:24:00.001-07:002012-05-06T19:24:21.379-07:003 Months and blessing day<br />

I would upload a picture or two, but they are all on my phone and Ryan has it right now. I promise to put some recent pictures on my blog soon. The twins had doctors appointments this week and I was shocked at how big they are getting. Keep in mind that they both weighted 5lbs 10oz at birth, just 9 weeks ago.<br /><br />Amelia:<br /> weight: 8lbs 12oz (6%)<br /> length: 20 1/2" (2%)<br /> head: 14" (0%)<br />Henry:<br /> weight: 9lbs 3oz (5%)<br /> length: 20 1/2" (0%)<br /> head: 14 3/4" (6%)<br /><br />As you can see they are either barely on the growth charts or not on them at all yet. They seem so big to me compared to what they were at birth, but really they are just the size of most newborns. In fact, when Isabel was born she weighted 8lbs 12oz and was 20 1/2" long, exactly what Amelia is now. I can't believe I pushed out a baby that size looking at Amelia. I am so happy they are growing and developing. They both look so healthy and are getting so strong. We go in to see Henry's cardiologist in a few weeks and I am anxious to hear what they have to say. He seems like he is doing great. I am so grateful for my little babies. They are a ton of work and I am always tired, but it is wonderful and I love them so much!Ryan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-986006409279105588.post-63298922440657590152012-03-12T20:43:00.002-07:002012-03-12T21:12:01.241-07:006 weeks old<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWL4wWjevbuzGZyyaumjVpiFAfGBnfU_xOUwaCQrBWgOaTxRdCUSIlP3Xvc9HVrRqHDZc7nZzwcQBpfmrVwn2Ie6uS7SB_FGbOE_MEVBJBDDuUR0AL6vnKP-8fCPe-f_IivHq-WCBm7MA/s1600/random-march+077.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWL4wWjevbuzGZyyaumjVpiFAfGBnfU_xOUwaCQrBWgOaTxRdCUSIlP3Xvc9HVrRqHDZc7nZzwcQBpfmrVwn2Ie6uS7SB_FGbOE_MEVBJBDDuUR0AL6vnKP-8fCPe-f_IivHq-WCBm7MA/s320/random-march+077.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5719226073710379650" border="0" /></a>I can't hardly believe it, but my sweet twins are 6 weeks old this week. It has gone by so fast and yet I wish it would go by even faster. I am not going to lie, it has been super hard and I am so tired I feel like dying sometimes, however I love these babies so much and sometimes I can't get enough of them. We took them in last week for an appointment and they are growing quite well. Henry is now 7lbs and Amelia is just over 7lbs. Henry is doing really well since he has been home. We still has his feeding tube, but we rarely use it as he is able to drink his bottles. We are hoping to pull it soon and not have to worry about it anymore.<br />Anyway, things are good and we are all surviving. I have to thank you all for the generous gifts sent to us. Also, thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. I am so grateful for such wonderful family and friends. If you are ever in the area, please stop by and see us (unless you are sick). It has been quite the adventure this past week and half. Here is the story (don't worry there is nothing gross and in too many details).<br />I should probably start by saying that I have been having contractions for the past month and I think that I had lost sensation in my belly and I really could not longer tell how strong the contractions were. I know that sounds weird, but I was having them so often that I was just used to them and it became normal to have strong contractions. On February 1st I was having contractions, like usual, but I decided to start timing them. They were pretty consistent at about 5 minutes apart, so Ryan decided we should go the hospital just to make sure I wasn't dilating (I was only at a 1 previous to this and hadn't changed in a couple weeks). We got to the hospital at about 5ish. Luckily my doctor was there delivering another baby, so he came and checked me. I was at a 2 and totally thinned out. They hooked me up the monitors and I was having contractions about 3 minutes apart and according to the monitor they were strong contractions (although I felt fine, just uncomfortable). They monitored me for about an hour and then my doctor came in and said he thought I should get my c section that night. I should add that I had never had a c section before, but the twins were both breach and they can't rotate twins externally because it is dangerous to the babies. They wheeled me into the operating room at about 6:30pm. It was a very strange thing. I mush prefer having babies the old fashioned way. Amelia was pulled out first at 6:52pm and then Henry at 6:58pm. It all happened so fast. They both weighted 5lbs 10oz. Amelia was 19"long and Henry was 18.5" long. It's kind of weird that they were pretty much identical in weight and length.<br />Initially Amelia was having a hard time breathing so they were focused on her, but she was quickly fine. They then focused on Henry who was having a hard time breathing. He was all over the place and after a couple of hours of monitoring him they decided to have him go to the NICU over night to be monitored better. Amelia came to my room and we planned on Henry coming the next day. Our pediatrician, Jason (who is also a relative), decided to order an echo cardiogram due to a loud murmur in Henry's heart for the next day. The next day I went to the NICU and held Henry for the first time. He was perfect and looked so good. At noon he got the echo cardiogram. Jason came to give me the result a little after that. It came back that something was wrong with his heart and they were taking him to Primary Children's Hospital in 1 hour. I should also add that Ryan had left the hospital a little bit before all this to take one of his CPA tests. I quickly called Ryan and told him to come back to the hospital and that something was wrong with Henry. I then went to the NICU to hold Henry until the Life Flight people got there. Jason called my brother Sam who works across the street from the hospital to come help him with a blessing for Henry. Jason and Sam gave Henry a blessing and then gave me one. It was very emotional, but also very calm at the same time. Ryan showed up about 10 minutes before they took Henry. It was so hard to watch my little baby being wheeled away. Ryan then went with Henry to Primary's. A few hours we got his diagnosis. He has a condition called Double Inlet Left Ventricle. If you want to know more about that you can look it up. On February 7th (so he was 6 days old) Henry had open heart surgery. He is doing so good. He will need at least 2 more heart surgeries over the next few years. He is currently still at the hospital, but should be coming home in a couple of days. I am a little nervous about him coming home but also really excited to have him with all of us. I hate that he is down there alone. We go down everyday, but it is just not the same.<br />So, there you go. There is the story. It has been a very stressful week and half. I know it is going to be utter chaos around our house for the next few years, but I don't even care. At least Henry is alive and he will be fine. It might sound crazy, but I feel like we were meant to have this trial and we will be better and stronger because of it. <br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLGiO6HBKMZEx9ohBd_6hJOiLmqv06sPoLjWU9qj6hcXte-rEE6I8u7JvaaiTeMpoOEEAbJggXdBNkHn9HZI20ygdBYU2PvpuKX_avYSwRQacqeHz3YIdWf0NToCxkxnk48lBa2PowX-M/s1600/feb+005.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLGiO6HBKMZEx9ohBd_6hJOiLmqv06sPoLjWU9qj6hcXte-rEE6I8u7JvaaiTeMpoOEEAbJggXdBNkHn9HZI20ygdBYU2PvpuKX_avYSwRQacqeHz3YIdWf0NToCxkxnk48lBa2PowX-M/s320/feb+005.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5707972640823873826" border="0" /></a>Baby Amelia<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVYtgIAyHEnICXFCywSoDSOm8aGE6i5SBYJ2Dve7B-EL_yQotGIzwjNZLJYFj7CkbX2zgUyae2zhN8hAFp9VtnBCK85wIzfnMsCGXHVOdJOmLOpwHl5sQoEg8Yo4Rnhny2fCRcgV_YWyA/s1600/feb+007.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVYtgIAyHEnICXFCywSoDSOm8aGE6i5SBYJ2Dve7B-EL_yQotGIzwjNZLJYFj7CkbX2zgUyae2zhN8hAFp9VtnBCK85wIzfnMsCGXHVOdJOmLOpwHl5sQoEg8Yo4Rnhny2fCRcgV_YWyA/s320/feb+007.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5707972633602243810" border="0" /></a>Baby Henry<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzmjT73B381VjZlsmbef1hSIbdHUr9KpHXKSv8yZue6lPIY_7sz1rNiTlNZbZkVqlgYzHxyfsiWXC14EIjZSTj2Ak1moA2rYUae6JGRtUXG1xfYd5irw8HBscWaGByCKLThaP45-2fi5o/s1600/feb+003.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzmjT73B381VjZlsmbef1hSIbdHUr9KpHXKSv8yZue6lPIY_7sz1rNiTlNZbZkVqlgYzHxyfsiWXC14EIjZSTj2Ak1moA2rYUae6JGRtUXG1xfYd5irw8HBscWaGByCKLThaP45-2fi5o/s320/feb+003.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5707972642359614962" border="0" /></a>Us with our cute babies!Ryan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-986006409279105588.post-8667900546268087142012-01-25T09:09:00.001-08:002012-01-25T09:40:06.761-08:00BedroomsRyan and I have been working hard to get the girls in the basement room and get the babies room ready. I think we can finally take a break and look back at our hard work and see that everything looks good (or maybe good enough). Here are some of the pictures of the girls room and the babies room. I am pleased with how they turned out.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimxZEUZQbBqfLAtFNwtrGiKWbK6OsBwiVXgvZZlnjMGRxxi24ENGdCxZTQjhvwywFrcdcnxiNz-QjraX5AmoYuNYxRKoC51jzB8CpPZjKN2g4RCUzXj1GDrPAbt_eT1mCaXYw3ArmDhPk/s1600/Jan2012+042.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimxZEUZQbBqfLAtFNwtrGiKWbK6OsBwiVXgvZZlnjMGRxxi24ENGdCxZTQjhvwywFrcdcnxiNz-QjraX5AmoYuNYxRKoC51jzB8CpPZjKN2g4RCUzXj1GDrPAbt_eT1mCaXYw3ArmDhPk/s320/Jan2012+042.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5701622613648993138" border="0" /></a>Isabel's side of the room.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-gkR7wQks0td-9dVhzHz8OKMvDOqh-9lGl7zwDKAapUXbjuYajev9-5f-VvNnpCbJzihdKN-W-y76KRgnStx-kRotk6HRWyaZGqAfR5BijuSZuOskibexm8vovh5V_bugjwxf2B_TmMg/s1600/Jan2012+041.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-gkR7wQks0td-9dVhzHz8OKMvDOqh-9lGl7zwDKAapUXbjuYajev9-5f-VvNnpCbJzihdKN-W-y76KRgnStx-kRotk6HRWyaZGqAfR5BijuSZuOskibexm8vovh5V_bugjwxf2B_TmMg/s320/Jan2012+041.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5701622608383880162" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgK7XLEiXe8t_PtQk0sjI5L2tlA8FS_4lqtYkAEOE7ArexQoisvANM6MS6UXW51iBCVh4YzBZ86ZWo_WTWVWGFPFKMBvY0MAgx1Vup53w_B09lm8dnkyxmjtFdg8NQV6keXe_nnYTaP7f4/s1600/Jan2012+040.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgK7XLEiXe8t_PtQk0sjI5L2tlA8FS_4lqtYkAEOE7ArexQoisvANM6MS6UXW51iBCVh4YzBZ86ZWo_WTWVWGFPFKMBvY0MAgx1Vup53w_B09lm8dnkyxmjtFdg8NQV6keXe_nnYTaP7f4/s320/Jan2012+040.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5701622604093105506" border="0" /></a>Lucy's side of the room.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQJFCW0zxxFb5kRP4bXrUp-0LyHIjaYr6vTQZBQXLRr1rEjEfok2733BV_OxluPp2hA_YInLRJ7UbWEoszU3qETU8V-FHJSWUFfOSIcUhX8WXwHhoRz9XpdOgPKgJAV0XINWwC5Lp-2E4/s1600/Jan2012+039.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQJFCW0zxxFb5kRP4bXrUp-0LyHIjaYr6vTQZBQXLRr1rEjEfok2733BV_OxluPp2hA_YInLRJ7UbWEoszU3qETU8V-FHJSWUFfOSIcUhX8WXwHhoRz9XpdOgPKgJAV0XINWwC5Lp-2E4/s320/Jan2012+039.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5701622596908243426" border="0" /></a>The entire room. I am so big and so uncomfortable. I am really tired of being pregnant, but I am really not wanting these babies to come out yet. I am hoping to make it at least 2 more weeks, but maybe even 4. I will be beyond huge at that point. On a positive note, in the past month I have only gained 2lbs. I have no space for big meals, but these babies are growing. I have only gained 37 lbs this entire pregnancy, which is pretty amazing. I hope to not gain more than 40 lbs total, but we shall see. I feel good for the most part, just tired and sore. Sleep has become a thing of the past and I am lucky if I get more than 4 hours a night (unless I take an Ambien). We are getting really excited for them to come. Last night we set up the crib and I have started organizing the baby stuff. I spent yesterday cleaning car seats and getting them ready for little babies. When Ryan got home from work he said that seeing the 2 car seats freaked him out just a little. I think reality is starting to hit him. I can't wait to see these little ones (and maybe get a few hours of sleep without this large mass on my body).<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyQAZLaYiDP__3CEaelw-QuhUqVnwTZCf9Bhda1Y3sxCfZW7d5QUaTL1MAKa69_rAwcSa2cwb-0f3YSiobo-JUh-p8Cjd2fyhWFtYyGrPqfybd1ObrvBkQCc-Q8eboP00bVaYJVQ58gqY/s1600/Jan2012+018.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyQAZLaYiDP__3CEaelw-QuhUqVnwTZCf9Bhda1Y3sxCfZW7d5QUaTL1MAKa69_rAwcSa2cwb-0f3YSiobo-JUh-p8Cjd2fyhWFtYyGrPqfybd1ObrvBkQCc-Q8eboP00bVaYJVQ58gqY/s320/Jan2012+018.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699401301524940482" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlaZwLbbLs52x7l2MefNMXWMhuH0PBd0S91MfY4-qmI4BXZcXvDqsS9hhvod6Vkfu3J9F1qYgaEcZmSTB89lSYEvdfXnUk4MrX1UrfjObhgFY9gmjS15qOuRV6KVlQwsmh-tLN6NagaA4/s1600/Jan2012+001.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlaZwLbbLs52x7l2MefNMXWMhuH0PBd0S91MfY4-qmI4BXZcXvDqsS9hhvod6Vkfu3J9F1qYgaEcZmSTB89lSYEvdfXnUk4MrX1UrfjObhgFY9gmjS15qOuRV6KVlQwsmh-tLN6NagaA4/s320/Jan2012+001.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699401337033474994" border="0" /></a>Ryan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-986006409279105588.post-57442610757845770772012-01-07T15:53:00.000-08:002012-01-07T16:07:51.349-08:00December Pictures<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgC4El34iwRei0tSdjkMmIU9D10CBepZ0StyDhfSgiRGa46LDtp2_jizud1SSvUWLEZPyNKOSqXyTU9B6dFdMycHsE6H3ZyP_pKpqTiHGN_lsa9VRn656mx41zmyh-dhVPxByznrh6_oYw/s1600/dec11+017.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgC4El34iwRei0tSdjkMmIU9D10CBepZ0StyDhfSgiRGa46LDtp2_jizud1SSvUWLEZPyNKOSqXyTU9B6dFdMycHsE6H3ZyP_pKpqTiHGN_lsa9VRn656mx41zmyh-dhVPxByznrh6_oYw/s320/dec11+017.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5695044437326738690" border="0" /></a>Isabel's Christmas preschool program. Her costume was super cute too (I'm not sure what is up with her pose though)!<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiX_z942WJAojn_9zasSzvwMYcAZVG4aOoKbUinpYcXXDnNSEVN3kzyGgvdgW4UMrxe80AHy-DdmbSAtfl8KAsMjOcisIMTwI0YakxpFEGJsAh2HdbGpC3owPkb-XWY2DPHSqChFQAtaTs/s1600/dec11+006.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiX_z942WJAojn_9zasSzvwMYcAZVG4aOoKbUinpYcXXDnNSEVN3kzyGgvdgW4UMrxe80AHy-DdmbSAtfl8KAsMjOcisIMTwI0YakxpFEGJsAh2HdbGpC3owPkb-XWY2DPHSqChFQAtaTs/s320/dec11+006.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5695044409514385746" border="0" /></a>My super cute girls in front of the Christmas tree. Yesterday Ryan and I passed a mile stone in our relationship. It is hard to believe that it has been 7 years since we got married. Marrying Ryan was probably the best decision I have made. He is a wonderful, patient man and I am so lucky to have him as my husband.<br />The other night Ryan and I were reminiscing about our "dating" relationship. I say "dating" in quotations because we never really dated officially, we kind of just were friends and then one day decided to get married. In fact our families did not even know we were dating or in a serious relationship. Ryan and I knew each other for just over a year when we got married. We hung out with the same friends and did a lot of things together. I had a hard time deciding to actually date Ryan because he is only 1 inch taller than me (and I loved to wear high hills), but he eventually beat me down and I went out with him. He was the only guy that actively pursued me. I loved that about him, he was persistent.<br />I love you so much Ryan! I am so happy we are together. We have a great life together and I can't wait for more ups and downs throughout our life together. You are a wonderful man!Ryan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-986006409279105588.post-84577479262925561672011-12-13T09:52:00.000-08:002011-12-13T10:05:10.833-08:00Potty Training<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjFXZLXPIo8HdkvCAP-mKX3UVHwZVP-8gPDOE2f70y-P32ofGG7rh-54mIduxmb3X1PMdms9YLaAuVVXkQZpjHKHIdzDXUiKoJVNmbdELK74SAKrEIBMhMuDa4TjqettrB2MHlil9tclw/s1600/IMAG0407.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 192px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjFXZLXPIo8HdkvCAP-mKX3UVHwZVP-8gPDOE2f70y-P32ofGG7rh-54mIduxmb3X1PMdms9YLaAuVVXkQZpjHKHIdzDXUiKoJVNmbdELK74SAKrEIBMhMuDa4TjqettrB2MHlil9tclw/s320/IMAG0407.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5685673339557904946" border="0" /></a>Can I just start by saying that I hate potty training? It is not my idea of a good time. Some people say it is so easy, but I personally think those people are liars or extremely lucky..... no offense is that's you reading this. When I potty trained Isabel she was one of those kids that just wanted to please me and did everything I asked her to do. She was fairly easy and I was lucky. Lucy has been a different story. She has gone potty a few times on the toilet, but I think it was luck more than skill. She is very funny though, she loves to sit on her little toilet. She also loves the ipod. So, she is only allowed to play the ipod while sitting on the toilet. She will sit there for half an hour sometimes (mostly because I forget that she is in there). I have decided that Lucy is potty training herself along with my ipod. I am not interested in fighting her or cleaning up potty messes at 7 months pregnant. So, we will see what happens. I really would love for her to be potty trained, but I am not going to force it any longer. She and the ipod can have a good time together.Ryan and Reneehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08939110409286998609noreply@blogger.com1
