I've Burned the Dickens out of my finger

Last night Katy (Michelle's daughter) suggested that I make doughnuts. I've never made doughnuts before and thought it would be fun. It was going great and I had just a few doughnut holes left, I went to put them in the hot oil and must have done it badly beacuse "I burned the dickens out of my finger"! I thought I was going to die. I am including pictures of my finger along with a really funny SNL video I thought of when I did. Although Julia did not burn herself, I think we are on the same page.
